The Need to Collaborate

Faculty research is no longer an individual endeavor. Today’s complex work brings together scholars with varied expertise to solve problems in new ways. Collaboration requires frequent, informal meetings with team members across disciplines to capitalize on strengths.

As the Mandel School’s curriculum and research evolve, new kinds of classrooms, adaptable meeting areas for group projects, and a large common space for alumni and community programs become increasingly important.

The Mandel School seeks space and flexibility to meet these emerging demands. Faculty and students alike would benefit from a re-examination of current physical space, which would allow for these new opportunities in learning.
