Annual Education Retreat

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

8:00 am-5:00 pm

Location: Tinkham Veale University Center

All faculty members and residents at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University are invited to the annual Medical Education Retreat held in the spring each year.  Every year features a different topic for discussion. This day long event includes talks, workshops, and a poster session. Recognition is also given to the Scholarship in Teaching Award Winners, and the winners of the the Foundations of Clinical Medicine Award and the IQ Facilitator Award.

We invite you to submit a 400 word or less abstract about an educational project for the 2018 Education Retreat.  Works-in-progress are welcomed.  All accepted submissions will be included in the Innovations in Medical Education Poster Session. This is an opportunity for you to consult with your colleagues about your projects and to seek their help with problems or questions you may have. This poster session is designed to inform all of us about the diversity of educational projects that faculty, students and residents are involved in and to help presenters benefit from the breadth and depth of experience of those present at the retreat.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically by filling out the Abstract Submission Form (link below) and sending it by return email to no later than January 15, 2018. The abstracts should meet the specifications stated in the Abstract Guidelines. You can find the submission form and guideline documents by clicking on the link below and referring to the poster presentation information.
