Journal Club is a monthly event where medical students, residents and staff come together to discuss the latest peer-reviewed articles in general surgery. Journal Club serves as both an update to what is being studied in the field as well as a lesson on critical appraisal of the medical literature.
A gentle reminder to all residents that attendance at journal club meetings is expected unless you are on night float, vacation, sick/family emergency, or stuck in OR. Research residents are required to attend these meetings.
