Creating a Healthy Environment to Work and Learn

CWRU became tobacco-free on July 1, 2017. As a university with a strong focus on health, we are excited to join many other colleges and universities as a tobacco-free campus.

The Policy

Effective July 1, 2017, CWRU prohibits the use of tobacco products on campus property. Tobacco products include: cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and all forms of smokeless tobacco.

CWRU offers phone, online and in-person programs, and nicotine replacement to help faculty, staff and students to quit their tobacco use.
