Adjunct and Part-time Lecturer Positions in Engineering Management - Office of Professional Programs, Case School of Engineering

 

Case Western Reserve University is seeking  qualified candidates to fill non-tenure track part-time faculty positions as adjuncts or part-time lecturers. The specific rank will depend on the applicant’s experience and qualifications. These part-time positions will be based within the Division of Engineering Leadership and Professional Practice in the Case School of Engineering of Case Western Reserve University. The Case School of Engineering values interdisciplinary thinking, creative collaboration and entrepreneurial ideas. It also believes strongly in the vital importance of diversity within the professorial ranks, both in terms of women and underrepresented minorities.

 

The ideal candidates will have broad technical expertise and competence to teach graduate and professional engineering courses on topics such as financial analysis, business principles, statistics and engineering management.  Appointments will be on a semester basis and may be eligible for reappointment based on performance and programmatic need.  Appointees will be expected to teach one or two courses per semester.

 

Qualified applicants must have a graduate degree in engineering or related field. Excellent management, education, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
