The Economics Department at Case Western Reserve University intends to hire a tenure-track faculty member. The Department is part of the Weatherhead School of Management and has teaching responsibilities in undergraduate economics and graduate-level management programs. This hire is part of a strategic cluster hiring on “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Work.” We seek applied micro-economists whose research combines rigorous and generalizable economic analysis with close attention to the institutions they study. Special consideration will be given to applicants with teaching and research interests in the following fields: artificial intelligence, the future of work, econometrics, development economics, health economics, energy economics, economics of information, international trade, and microeconomic theory.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have completed a PhD in Economics or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate promise for research and teaching excellence and should have an interest in undergraduate and/or MBA teaching.
