Open Rank Faculty Position (non-tenure track) - Department of Design & Innovation

The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University seeks a non-tenure track faculty at a Professor level (Assistant, Associate, or Full) to begin as early as July 2023 and no later than July 2024. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Marketing and/or significant industry experience (>10 years) in marketing positions with interest in contributing to marketing scholarship are eligible. Ideal candidates must show evidence of exceptional teaching in topics such as marketing strategy, digital marketing, sales & service management, marketing frontlines, and/or managerial marketing. The primary focus for this appointment is excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, and inclination for involvement in scholarly activities like publishing practitioner articles and/or collaboration with research teams. History with evidence of excellent teaching is a preferred asset.

This position is located in the Department of Design & Innovation that brings together faculty from three disciplines including Marketing, Strategy, and Information Systems. A first of its kind, the focus of the department is creating new knowledge for innovative products, services, and systems, and designing value-creating business models that involve enduring relationships with customers, stakeholders, and society. The department excels in digital innovation, organizational frontlines, and product development, offering ample opportunities for cross-disciplinary research.
