The Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for an open-rank tenure-track position to begin July 1, 2025 in the area of clinical psychology and mental health. Depending upon rank, the successful candidate is expected to provide leadership to the clinical program, including service as director of clinical training. Topics of specific research focus are open, and applicants are encouraged to indicate how their work might complement existing areas of strength in the department. The department offers a PhD program in clinical psychology, in both child and adult areas, that uses a scientist-practitioner model, is highly competitive, and has been continually accredited since 1948. The Department of Psychological Sciences is increasing the number of faculty as a result of an exciting $60 million investment to help address the growing mental health crisis within and beyond Northeast Ohio. This investment will establish the Sara and Curt Moll Institute for Mental Health and Well-Being and will foster research, education, clinical collaborations, and community outreach. The successful applicant will have demonstrated training and experience that align with the mission of the Moll Institute as related to mental health and well-being.

Qualifications
Rank is determined commensurate with experience. Assistant Professor candidates will be evaluated on their potential to establish a prominent, externally funded research program and to excel in graduate and undergraduate teaching. Associate Professors and Professors will be evaluated on their demonstrated abilities in research (including a history of successful external funding) and teaching. A PhD in Psychology is required by the time of appointment, with preference given to candidates who are eligible for licensure in Ohio.
