Post-doctoral Positions in Biomedical Imaging

The NFCR-Center for Molecular Imaging at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for a post-doctoral position in the immunology of photodynamic therapy PDT).  Candidates should have a research emphasis in in vivo biomedical imaging and immunology, and candidates with interests in fluorescent image guided surgery (FIGS) followed by PDT are particularly encouraged to apply.  Research expertise should include molecular imaging techniques, experience with immunological assays and analysis, including: Nanostring, ElliSpot, and Flow cytometry technologies. Researcher should also have animal cancer model and animals surgical experience.  The candidate will enjoy the rich research and training opportunities both within the Case Center for Imaging Research (CCIR) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Case Western and should be enthusiastic to develop  strong collaborations within BME, CCIR, and with faculty in other departments of the university and its clinical affiliates (Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center and MetroHealth Medical Center). The imaging program at Case Western Reserve University is devoted to the development and translation of novel imaging techniques and paradigms ranging from basic investigations to clinical applications.  Please see the BME web site, http://bme.case.edu, and the CCIR web site, http://ccir.uhrad.com, for additional information about biomedical imaging research at Case.  Candidates should have a Ph.D., a good publication record, and a strong research plan/program.  We particularly invite applications from individuals who have experience and interest in developing training programs for culturally diverse groups.  In employment, as in education, Case Western Reserve University is committed to Equal Opportunity and World Class Diversity.  Case is a recipient of a National Science Foundation ADVANCE Institutional Transformation Grant to increase the participation of women in science and engineering.  Send a statement of research interests and program, curriculum vitae, and the names, addresses, and phone numbers of at least three references to:
