The Department of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is searching for at least one visiting assistant professor in statistics, to begin in Fall 2025. These positions are open to candidates in all areas of statistics, but preference will be given to candidates whose research is closely related to that of current faculty in the department. Visiting assistant professors are expected to teach a variety of courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level, and to engage in active research. These positions are renewable for up to three years.

Qualifications
All candidates must hold a PhD in Statistics or a related field by the time of the appointment, have demonstrated teaching/mentoring experience, and have a publication record appropriate to rank.
