Hardly a day passes at Case Western Reserve University that doesn’t grab headlines thanks to our faculty and student activities. Our engineering programs are no exception. Let’s take a look at some of CWRU’s biggest moments in engineering from 2020:
- Astronaut and former CWRU student Don Thomas headlined E-Week 2020
- An engineering team launched the rapid production of face shields for COVID-19 mitigation in the earliest days of the pandemic
- CWRU again sent the largest contingent from a single university to CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics show
- Engineers developed an online tool to help individuals assess their relative risk of being exposed to COVID-19 based on the virus’ spread
And that’s just the short list. See more of what’s going on at CWRU. (Feel free to take your time. There’s a lot to take in 😉.)
What headlines will you make?
