The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has unveiled its new expansion plans, inspired by the glacier that helped shape the region. CWRU students receive free admittance to the museum, a quick walk from the first-year residence halls.
The natural history museum is one of our students’ favorite places to spend a day. Among the museum’s attractions are an Apollo 12 moon rock; the partial skeleton of “Lucy,” a 3.2-million-year-old human ancestor; and the Wildlife Center & Woods Garden, featuring an elevated tree canopy trail, bobcat enclosure and aviaries with amphitheater-style seating.
