Case in point: Nursing faculty member Ronald Hickman, who was recently named among the Top 10 Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Scholars by the National Academy of Medicine.
Hickman is a triple alum of Case Western Reserve (yes… he earned his bachelors, masters and PhD all on our campus!) and his research focuses on end-of-life care, including the use of avatar-based technology to help families make decisions for seriously ill loved ones.
