Ronald Hickman, associate dean for research at the Center for Research and Scholarship and the Ruth M. Anderson Professor at CWRU’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.

As a nursing student at Case Western Reserve University, you’ll be at the center of one of the nation’s most sophisticated health care cities and keeping company with some of the world’s leading health care experts.

Case in point: Nursing faculty member Ronald Hickman, who was recently named among the Top 10 Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Scholars by the National Academy of Medicine.

Hickman is a triple alum of Case Western Reserve (yes… he earned his bachelors, masters and PhD all on our campus!) and his research focuses on end-of-life care, including the use of avatar-based technology to help families make decisions for seriously ill loved ones.
