Who is the Society for Critical Exchange?

The Society for Critical Exchange has some 850 members, from a diversity of disciplines and fields, whose intellectual interests are shaped by the concerns of literary theory.

The SCE draws its membership from academics and intellectuals accross North America and, in some cases, from Europe as well. The majority of members are employed in Departments of English, Comparative Literature, or Rhetoric; in Departments of Economics; or in Schools of Law.

The SCE is overseen by a Board of Directors, elected by the membership, with an Honorary President. Its operations are governed by an Executive Director and an Associate Director, with the aid of an Assistant to the Directors and a Assistant for Web Development. Currently, these offices are as follows:
