Agnar Pytte

Agnar Pytte led Case Western Reserve University from 1987 to 1999 as the federated institution’s fourth president. His time at the helm is remembered for physical expansion of the campus, with the university launching its first campus master plan and completing $325 million in capital projects under his leadership. 

Pytte also worked to establish a more unified institution, increased enrollment by 21% and positioned the university as a higher education leader in the use of internet technology.
