The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation

In 1940, brothers Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel  founded Premier Automotive Supply Co., which grew to become an international leader in auto parts distribution and manufacturing. With their success, they launched the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, which aims to provide outstanding leadership for the nonprofit world.

In 1988, the foundation made a gift to name the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. The foundation plays an integral role in the activities of arts organizations, community service groups and Cleveland’s Jewish community.
