CBHI is dedicated to increasing collaboration among brain health sciences at Case Western Reserve University and our affiliated hospitals. We highlight events at our member institutions on our home page, and give you access to our CBHI activities right here. Whether you join one of our Study Groups, attend our quarterly Translational Neuroscience Lectures, or come to our annual Retreat, we hope that you connect with us.
Our 2018 Retreat featured our inaugural Story Landis Lecture and the first meeting of our Study Groups. The 2019 Annual Meeting featured Huda Zoghbi MD who gave the Story Landis Lecture, and Dr. Michael Roizen, who gave the first Lecture on Brain Health. Planning for the 2020 Annual Meeting is now underway!
This summer CBHI is entering into a novel collaboration with the Cleveland High School Student Scientific Enrichment & Opportunity Program headed by Nathan Berger M.D. that places junior and senior STEM students into laboratories to gain research experience. We will have CBHI Summer Students join us in June and July, 2019 and four graduate student "near peer" mentors. Check back with us for more information on our students, and information on the CBHI labs in which they are working.
