Master of Business Analytics and Intelligence

About the Program

With a Master of Business Analytics and Intelligence from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, you’ll enter an in-demand field with competitive starting salaries. Here, you’ll learn data analytics and applied business analytics through a curriculum that highlights concepts and tools such as machine learning, neuro-linguistic programming, artificial intelligence, Python, and more. Our program allows you to visualize, lead, communicate and, ultimately, shape how organizations advance in the ever-evolving business world.

What to Expect

The business analytics and intelligence field is rich with opportunities. According to QuantHub, there are three times more job posts than job searches for data scientists, making an MBAI degree an effective pathway to a lucrative career.

Over the course of our 16-month program, you’ll learn to apply cutting-edge analytics to real-world data from our industry partners, extracting insights to solve business-related problems.

A note for international applicants: The MBAI at CWRU qualifies as a STEM degree, which also offers you an additional opportunity. You’ll be able to extend your stay for 24 months, allowing for three years of total work in the U.S.

“The faculty did a really great job at helping students find job and internship opportunities. They taught us the must-have social skills in American culture, which, for an international student like me, is a huge help.”
The Career Management Office helped me with mock interview sessions and resume assistance. The mentorship program connected me with people already working in analytics so I could learn about their daily responsibilities for different industries. I networked with alumni during the Weatherhead career fair, who later helped me get my full-time job offer.”

Beyond the Classroom

Before you even begin your master’s program, you’ll be assigned a program director who stays with you throughout your time at CWRU. They’ll keep you on track with weekly meetings and help you achieve your career goals by connecting you with quality internship opportunities. Plus, you’ll be paired with a “buddy” to help you navigate classes and life at CWRU.

And as you seek to find your next step in your career, you’ll be matched with a mentor in the field who will help you understand how the industry functions from the inside out.

Through this extensive support system, combined with exceptional education and access to internships, university partnerships, and the knowledge of our prolific faculty members, our students have ended up at Cleveland Clinic, Deloitte & Touche, Visa, KeyBank, and more.
