What to Expect

Our online MS in Mechanical Engineering degree provides flexible study options that complement your personal schedule, whether you study late at night, early in the morning or in between meetings. Plus, you can choose when you start your program—spring, summer or fall—and complete it on your schedule, in 18 months or more, depending on your needs.

After completing the eight required courses in our 30-credit-hour curriculum, you'll choose two electives from various areas such as systems and control, biomedical, and civil engineering. Throughout, you’ll gain the fundamental knowledge and cutting-edge skills to find solutions to some of society's most pressing problems across various disciplines, including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, automation and fluid mechanics.

Admission Requirements

In addition to a bachelor’s degree demonstrating proficiency in engineering, math and science subjects, you’ll need to submit:

  • An online application
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • $50 application fee
  • Transcripts from all universities attended
  • GRE scores*
