About the Program

Learn to bring teams of engineers together with a dual Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Systems and Control Engineering from the top-ranked Case School of Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. What to Expect

You can apply to the BS/MS program after completing 75 credit hours of undergraduate coursework and before attaining senior status (completing 90 credit hours). 

Throughout our integrated program in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering, you’ll learn to analyze, optimize, control and design complex systems efficiently. Supportive faculty, leading-edge facilities, and additional resources will be available to help you turn your ideas into impactful research projects and create long-term solutions for systems and control engineering-related problems.

And, you'll gain the qualities of an effective team leader—from compelling communication to helping teams accomplish goals.

Admissions Requirements

You can apply to the BS/MS program after completing 75 semester hours of undergraduate coursework and before attaining senior status (completion of 90 semester hours). 

Applications to the BS/MS program must be submitted through the School of Graduate Studies. Specific requirements include the following: 

  • Successful admittance to CWRU as an undergraduate
  • Completed online application
  • Statement of objectives
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Approved Planned Program of Study (PPOS) form
