  2. CHIN 399: Independent Study in Chinese

    This course is taught every semester on a continuous basis. It meets the needs of busy students who have time conflicts with existing courses. Students work closely together with the instructor on their individual topics of study. (CHIN 399)

  3. GRMN 101: Introductory German I

    This German course is the first half of the elementary German course. It introduces the students to German pronuciation, vocabulary, grammar, and sentences.

    This German course is the second half of the elementary German course. It introduces the students to German pronuciation, vocabulary, grammar, and sentences.

  5. GRMN 201: Intermediate German I

    This German course is the first half of the intermediate German course. It conducts a comprehensive grammar review of basic structures in contemporary German.

    This German course is the second half of the intermediate German course. It conducts a comprehensive grammar review of basic structures in contemporary German.

  7. GRMN 302: an advanced German language course

    Taught in German, this course stresses the contemporary written and spoken language. News articles, videos and audio tapes will be utilized by students to study real life situations

  8. GRMN 310: Advanced German Composition and Reading

    An advanced-level skills course focusing on reading and writing for students who have already studied intermediate German. Develops abilities to read authentic, unabridged texts and also to produce increasingly sophisticated expository compositions in German.

  9. GRMN 313: Introduction to German Literature

    GERMAN 313 is the introductory course to the study of German literature. The course is open to both prospective German majors and minors and to those who simply want to continue studying German but who may not wish/do not have time to be majors.
