Dr. Vargas specializes in the surgical and chemotherapy management of women with gynecologic cancers including: ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, and gestational trophoblastic disease. His interests include minimally invasive surgery with both the robotic-assisted and laparoscopic platforms, heated intra-peritoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), sentinel lymph node mapping, rare tumors and uterine cancers.
