Students Named Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) Paul Ambrose Scholars for 2020

Five students from the class of 2021 (Lauren Campbell, Connie Cheng, Rachelle Fair, Rosa Gonzalez, and Avantika Mundkur) have been named Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) Paul Ambrose Scholars for 2020. APTR is the professional organization, which represents faculty and students in the health professions dedicated to population-based and public health education. Our student scholars in this program will design and implement a health promotion or disease prevention project in our community while establishing relationships with local health leaders. Up to 35 students from health professions schools are selected for this prestigious scholarship each year.
