International Student Orientation is a two-day program to help acclimate you to campus and provide resources to create a seamless transition to American culture and higher education.

International Student Orientation will:

• Assist with your acclimation process before the start of New Student Orientation
• Allow you to adjust to a different time zone, language and environment
• Provide a welcoming transition experience that is meaningful, informative and engaging
• Prepare you for New Student Orientation, where you will participate in group programs with domestic and international students
• Connect you with faculty members, staff members, Orientation Leaders and International Student Ambassadors
• Provide academic, social and practical programming that focuses on challenges and areas of concern specific to international students
• Orient you to Cleveland through off-campus excursions
