Jeffrey Iciek joined the Mandel School as the Associate Director for Field Education after previously serving as a Field Faculty Advisor with the school's online MSW program. Prior to that, he has experience supporting online MSW student learning as both an advisor and later a student support manager . His social work experience includes child welfare intake services, juvenile restorative justice, wraparound care coordination and program management, and child/family advocacy in court settings. Jeff earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Olivet College and a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University, concentrating in Organizational / Community Practice while completing a certificate in Child and Family Advocacy. His areas of interest continue to be systems of care, utilization of creative/natural supports rather than institutional care, online social work higher education, and interprofessional collaboration within social work.
