The social work profession is at a crossroads, that much is clear, but how our profession will transform is up to us!  While our profession has gone through times of transition before, we are currently facing challenges that will have monumental repercussions for the future of our profession. Newly released ASWB Exam pass rate data reveals great inequity in our licensure process. The upcoming Interstate Licensure Compact will provide new opportunities, but also new challenges, as our ability to practice across state lines expand. And in Ohio specifically, an increasing behavioral health workforce crisis and attempts to criminalize ethical social work practice by the Ohio State Legislature, place new burdens on social workers. While these challenges feel immense, we also see in them great opportunities for positive transformation. At the 2022 conference we will come together to discuss advocacy strategies, share resources and center ourselves in our professional values.  Conference attendees will receive access to up to 30 CEUs: all you need for renewal, including ethics and supervision hours, with a combination of in-person and recorded trainings. Our 24+ unique workshops cover a wide range from micro to macro, including mental health and substance use disorder treatment, social justice and advocacy issues, aging, self- care, ethics, supervision and more. With over 300 attendees representing a wide range of practice areas and location and 40+ exhibitors and sponsoring organizations, the conference is an excellent networking opportunity for all—from students to those at the peak of their careers! For those unable to attend the conference in-person, NASW Ohio is offering recorded content from the conference at a reduced rate. Stay up to date with what's happening with Ohio social work, get excellent trainings on a wide range of topics, and get your CEUs at a low bundle rate.
