University Marketing and Communications promotes and supports the university's central fundraising efforts with strategic, integrated marketing and communications plans.
The development communications director coordinates all announcements for gifts that exceed $1 million or that present unique story-telling opportunities. Such coordination ensures that external media outreach, internal and electronic communications, and university and school publications work together to achieve key goals.
Development communications also promote philanthropy through the creation of editorial publications and solicitation materials for fundraising staff, as well as through maintenance of the university’s giving website and campaign website.
