The World Health Organization has named 2020 the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, recognizing the vital role nurses play in providing health services around the world.
Cleveland is an epicenter of world-class healthcare, and Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing is taking a lead role in organizing a celebration of nurses in our city.
There are more than 10,000 nurses working in Cleveland. And each day for the next 366 days (it is Leap Year after all!) one of them will be featured on a website dedicated to sharing the importance of nurses in our community.
These nurses are tops in their field—and, as a CWRU nursing student, you will work alongside them in some of the world’s most advanced clinical sites for 1,300 hours.
