When you study business at Case Western Reserve University, you’re not just reading case studies in the classroom. You will put the concepts into practice with a real-life consulting project.
In the Weatherhead School of Management’s Action Learning course, CWRU business students get hands-on experience with real clients looking to solve real business problems.
Recent Action Learning consulting projects include:
► Streamlining executive decision making
► Developing a social media marketing strategy
► Improving customer service and order completion
► Modifying a pay-for-performance compensation approach
► Evaluating the feasibility of a fee-for-service model
► Creating a new recruiting process
► Expanding customer base and reducing attrition
During the Action Learning course, you will spend the semester testing and adjusting your skills and knowledge to solve challenging business problems. You will work as a consultant, meeting directly with a corporate client on a project. Experienced and knowledgeable faculty will mentor your team through coaching sessions. The course concludes with your final report and presentation to the client.
Case Western Reserve students add to their resume and obtain valuable networking contacts through the project—and in some cases have been offered positions in the company for which they completed an Action Learning project.
Studying business at CWRU will be the first step in your impressive career.
