Co-Director Cather Simpsons joined the faculty at Case in 1997. Her very successful research program focuses upon the ultrafast disposal of energy and has been supported by the NIH, the Dept. of Defense, and Case. Her studies directly impact phototherapeutics, molecular- and nano-scale electronic components, and unraveling the fundamental behavior of photoactive systems. Dr. Simpson also directs the Case Chemistry Scholars Program, and was a 1999-2000 Glennan Fellow at Case.
