Scene 14The Contemporary tells Hwang Ti that the lords of the court are assembled, as ordered, for the Donkey Court. The prince discloses that there are rioting people before his gates. But the Contemporary explains that these are not people but "Agitators. Spies. Terriorists. Undesirable Elements." Hwang Ti orders the prince to suppress the riots before he can get Mee Lan.
