Gregory L. Eastwood (MED ’66)

Gregory L. Eastwood served as interim president of Case Western Reserve University from 2006 to 2007 following the resignation of President Edward M. Hundert. 

As president, he filled multiple open deanships and led a transformation of the university’s visual identity, which incorporated a sunburst inspired by the Case Western Reserve seal.

In 2007, he received the University Medal for his commitment to Case Western Reserve and was the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from The Alumni Association of Case Western Reserve University that year.
