After graduating from Case Western Reserve with his bachelor’s in computer science, Kevin Kranzusch quickly found work as a systems software engineer, and in less than five years, joined the multinational technology company, NVIDIA. Today, he serves as vice president of system software for the company, which is the world’s largest maker of video game chips. But Kranzusch has taken his passion for the field even further, and in 2019, played an instrumental role in establishing the Department of Computer and Data Sciences at CWRU.
He and his wife, Lynne Bosworth, have committed $20 million to the department over the years, endowing three professorships and a fellowship, as well as an endowed fund for faculty projects and curriculum development, and an endowment for student success.
