Roger Susi provided the entrepreneurial and engineering mindset behind two successful medical startups— InViVo Research, Inc., which developed the world’s first successful MRI patient vital signs monitoring device, and Iradimed, known for its MRI infusion pump.
In 2019, Susi committed $2 million to launch the Roger E. Susi First Year Experience Program. In 2023, he pledged $25 million, which was matched by the university, to support the Interdisciplinary Science and Research Building, a commitment that the university matched.
