Progressive Insurance is pleased with the multi-year offering by Case Western Reserve University of the popular course, "Driving Innovation with Design Thinking." Originally created for current and future engineers at Progressive Insurance, the course was intended to reach 100+ infrastructure engineers, however was later deemed helpful for areas outside of engineering, such as systems analysts and application developers. Students from across Progressive that participated in the highly sought-after course said that they were pleased with the course as well as the instructor's ability to increase their critical thinking skills and growth mindset. As a result, they were able to apply the new innovation skills in their external projects and make their projects more successful. The course integrates the pathway for Progressive employees to come up with ideas that take the company into a blue ocean thinking to generate operational efficiencies, quality improvements, new growth and profitability for Progressive Insurance.
