The grant, awarded by the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE), will help Dr. Turkyilmaz enhance learning experiences for dental students by integrating cutting-edge digital tools and techniques into the curriculum and clinical practice.

"Thank you for your efforts to improve student learning on our campus," wrote Matthew L. Garrett, director of UCITE, in the award notification. "UCITE received a strong pool of applications this spring, and we are pleased to be able to support your grant funding request."

Funding for the project is available through the end of the 2026 fiscal year and reflects the university's commitment to fostering educational innovation that benefits both students and patients.
