  • CWRU Wrestling Team Ranked by NWCA, The Open Mat for First Time
    For the first time in program history, the Case Western Reserve University wrestling team was ranked in the top 25 nationally by the NWCA.
  • Eight CWRU Football Players Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition
    The Case Western Reserve University football team saw eight of its players receive College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Recognition for their academic and athletic achievements during the 2025 season. Spartans recognized with the honor included senior defensive back Osi Chukwuocha, junior defensive back Tyler Fikis, senior offensive lineman David Freedman, senior running back Stefan Lopez, senior offensive lineman Owen Myer, senior defensive lineman Sean Reilly, senior defensive lineman Joseph Swarm, and sophomore defensive lineman Jack Tierney.
  • Martinez Receives Third UAA Athlete of the Week Honor This Season
    Case Western Reserve University senior Art Martinez was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for the third time in the 2025-26 season, the conference announced on Monday.
  • Spartan Club Athletes of the Week for Jan. 5: Anand Dharmarajan & Mya Hartjes
    Case Western Reserve University senior Anand Dharmarajan, a guard on the men's basketball team, and junior Mya Hartjes, a guard on the women's basketball team, have been named the Spartan Club Athletes of the Week for their performances this past week.
  • No. 21/23 Wrestling Extends Winning Streak to Seven at UAA Challenge
    The 21st-ranked Case Western Reserve University wrestling team won all three of its matches at the 2026 University Athletic Association Challenge to extend its winning streak to seven matches. CWRU defeated Centenary University 31-9, Gettysburg College 25-17, and Johns Hopkins University 27-16 at the John A. Paulson Center on the campus of New York University  in Manhattan, New York on Saturday.

    The Case Western Reserve University women's basketball team wrapped up play at the Baldwin Wallace Holiday Classic with a 76-52 loss to the hosts and 23rd-ranked Yellow Jackets in Berea, Ohio, on Tuesday afternoon.
  • Dharmarajan’s Career-High 30 Lifts Spartans to Win over Kalamazoo
    Case Western Reserve University senior guard Anand Dharmarajan scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Spartans to a 97-80 win over Kalamazoo College on Tuesday afternoon at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland.
  • Hartjes Scores Career-High 25 to Lead CWRU to 68-55 Win over Oberlin
    The Case Western Reserve University women's basketball team returned to action after a layoff of over three weeks to defeat Oberlin College 68-55 behind a career-high 25-point effort from junior guard Mya Hartjes at the Baldwin Wallace Holiday Classic in Berea, Ohio, on Monday afternoon.
