This group was created in 2012 to address the unique needs of Asian women faculty. Its mission is to promote connections among and advancement of Asian women faculty members.
The objectives of the group are to create a forum where Asian women faculty can connect with each other and other professional groups, promote the status of Asian women including fair representation in leadership positions, provide a venue for mentoring and supporting Asian women and for discussing common issues, and enhance self and campus awareness of the diverse cultural issues faced by Asian women.
