Dear World

Everyone has a story. We want you to share yours.

As part of the Dear World experience at Case Western Reserve University, students get the chance to share their story. We walk you through an experience that will help you craft a message out of an important moment in your life. Dear World refers to this as a "brain tattoo".

In your small groups, you'll be walked through the story crafting experience and have the ability to share your story with your peers and hear their stories as well. It's an opportunity to learn more about one another and create connections with other students in the CWRU community, all before you set foot on campus.

Later in Discover Week, you will get the chance to have your message displayed wherever you choose, just like you see in the photos of some of our orientation leaders who experienced Dear World last year. We'll set up a time for you to have your photo taken and we'll share it with you digitally.

Our students have described the Dear World experience as transforming, inspiring and many current students wished they could have experienced it when they were an incoming student.

We can't wait for you to join us. We can't wait to hear your story.
