On Sunday, May 16, Case Western Reserve University School of Law celebrated the Class of 2021 during an in-person commencement ceremony at Freiberger Field. A recording of the ceremony is available to view online.
The ceremony included congratulatory messages from Dean Berg and Dean Scharf, well wishes from members of the law school faculty and staff, the presentation of awards and remarks from outgoing Student Bar Association President Isaiah Pinckney III. Environmental law expert Jim Chen (LAW ‘91) also addressed the graduates before the diplomas were presented.
The university’s virtual convocation ceremony, featuring reflections from convocation speaker Marc H. Morial, along with the presentation of the Hovorka Prize, honorary degrees, and the official degree conferral, was released on May 30, 2021, the university's final day of diploma ceremonies.
