JOLTI and the Compliance Institute host a symposium on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the business world

In March, the Journal of Law, Technology and the Internet (JOLTI) and the Compliance, Risk Management and Financial Integrity Institute hosted the symposium "Exploring the AI Frontier: The Business World, Artificial Intelligence and the Law". This symposium explored the intersection of artificial intelligence and the law within the business world and aimed to provide insights into how the law can adapt to ensure innovation while safeguarding against potential risks in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.  
The event featured a keynote address titled "Charting the AI Frontier," and panels on business planning in the age of AI; artificial intelligence and financial advice; autonomous vehicles – liability, regulation and the future of mobility; and AI, white collar crime and business ethics.

The Compliance, Risk Management & Financial Integrity Institute promotes cutting-edge research in the emerging field of compliance. The Institute is designed to support Case Western Reserve University School of Law’s master and certificate programs in Compliance and Risk Management, which exist to meet the steadily increasing demand by businesses and government agencies for experts in the state, federal and international laws and regulations that form the basis for the compliance industry.
