The LLM program at Case Western Reserve University was recently named to the International Jurist Magazine’s LLM Honor Roll. This distinction places our program within the top 30 in the United States among over 100 law schools open to foreign attorneys.

Practicing law in a global society demands a firm grasp of cross-border interests and implications of a nation's laws. Attorneys who advise international clients need to understand how to operate in various legal environments and communicate and work effectively with lawyers and clients around the world. Our LLM degrees prepare lawyers for this challenge.

As one of the most well-established LLM programs in the nation, we have refined our teaching approach over the years and now boast a network of over 1,500 successful LLM alumni around the world. We offer four LLM degrees, a joint program with South West University of Political Science and Law, a Summer Language and Law Institute and an LLM+ option. These programs ensure you can gain the knowledge and experience necessary for a successful international law career.

“Our LLM graduates often express how grateful they are for the support they get from LLM faculty and staff,” said Elizabeth Woyczynski, Director of Admissions and Student Services. “It's rewarding to see their positive experiences reflected in the International Jurist Honor Roll.”
