The Center for AI Enabling Discovery in Disease Biology (AID2B) at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine conducts multidisciplinary and multiscalar research that is poised to transform the practice of medicine.
Toward developing analytics, key AI resources, and cross-disciplinary research, the Center for AID2B focuses on a wide gamut of research areas and techniques including genomics, precision therapeutics, disease prediction/detection/prognosis, computational imaging (including radiomics/pathomics), novel radiographic imaging (including MRI/fingerprinting), AI medical decision making with patient and population interfaces, applications of deep/machine learning and advanced mathematical modeling, drug resistance, cell evolution and toxicities of illness and drugs, as well as physiology modeling from pathway to organelle to cell to organism.
