The Andrew B. Kaufman World Medicine Pathway (WMP) enhances medical student career development and mentorship in global health by providing unique opportunities for students seeking advanced training and careers that address global health challenges.
The Pathway is made up of a select group of faculty and students. Our current students include medical students (both from the University and College Program) who are not currently enrolled in a dual-degree program and are interested in having mentors guide them through their experience in the clinical years.
Our Pathway leadership and advisory board provides training and oversight for Pathway members as they gain a strong foundation in biomedical research, clinical care, capacity building, or global health policy/advocacy.
