Academic Support Resources earns CRLA Certification for peer tutoring and coaching programs
Case Western Reserve University Academic Support Resources’ peer tutoring and coaching programs were awarded level 1 certification as tutor and coaching training programs by the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
For more than 30 years, CRLA has been a national leader in learning assistance, reading and academic support programs, with almost 1,300 members and over 2,000 certified training programs worldwide.
Through the leadership of assistant directors Shaun Hoversten and Rachel Gray, the department developed academic success programs that meet CRLA’s rigorous standards and have successfully completed the International Tutor Training Program Certification peer review process.
