Alumnus to discuss how to apply social sciences to leadership development on July 13

Howard M. Guttman (LYS ’76, SAS ’77) will be on campus July 13 to present a lecture, “A Consultant’s Journey: Applying the Social Sciences to Leadership Development.” Guttman is principal of Guttman Development Strategies Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in executive, managerial and organizational development. Guttman will speak on his 22 years of management consulting and executive coaching, sharing his experiences in building horizontal, high-performing teams, strategically aligning organizations and providing management training. The lecture will be in the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations’ large meeting room at 3 p.m. 1 CEU credit for social work is available for $25 at the door.
