Alzheimer’s researchers to present findings at Science Café Cleveland April 9

The topic of this month’s Science Café Cleveland will be “Remembrance of Things Past: Reversing the Causes of Memory Loss That Characterizes Alzheimer’s Disease.” Neurosciences and neurology professor Gary Landreth and doctoral candidate Paige Cramer will discuss the discovery of a new class of medications that rapidly reverses Alzheimer’s symptoms in mice. Clinical trials of this treatment on humans are anticipated. The talk will be held April 9 at Market Garden Brewery in Ohio City. Drinks begin at 6:30 p.m., with the discussion starting around 7 p.m. The CWRU chapter of Sigma Xi, WCPN ideastream and Market Garden Brewery sponsor Science Café Cleveland.
