Applications for 2015-2016 Ethics Table Fellows are due by May 31. Eight advanced students, faculty or staff will be selected as fellows, whose aim is to produce a project that will enrich the ethical learning environment of Case Western Reserve University.
The projects can be broad or narrow. In the past, faculty, staff and students have worked on a variety of different programs:
- Staff have worked on ethics in their units or produced programs that intersect with student life.
- Administrators have humanized and simplified their rules as they affect everyone, especially students.
- Faculty have developed courses and service learning projects, even an ethics primer for engineers.
- Students have researched and speculated on the deep ethical issues concerning CWRU, such as educational privilege or the legacy of slavery in our society.
