Through the Civic Engagement Scholars program, coordinated by the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning (CCEL), students commit to completing civic engagement activities and participating in learning related to community. Undergraduate and graduate students of all majors can participate.
Students can volunteer with one nonprofit or many, join CCEL-hosted experiences, or find opportunities on their own. They can also choose a civic engagement activities track of 25 hours or 45 hours and switch anytime. The 45-hour track can also count toward the UGER Local and Global Perspective. CCEL will share ideas and support students along the way.
