Associated Press: The farmhouse in Andrew Wyeth’s painting “Christina’s World” was declared a National Historic Landmark. The painting is well known and highly regarded by experts. “That whole quality of mankind's loneliness in the universe has never been expressed so powerfully,” said Henry Adams, professor of American art.
